There is no additional cost for GSFC MiniRoos families.
Brand-New
2026 Playing Kit - Included
Every registered player will receive a new GSFC playing kit for the 2026 season.
What’s new:
- Kits are included in registration
- Players keep their kit at the end of the season
- A new kit will be issued again for the 2027 season
- MiniRoos players also receive a Sydney FC–branded training jersey
This approach reduces upfront costs for families and ensures all players step onto the pitch feeling part of the club.

Need Help or Have Questions?
We know registering for a new season can come with questions — especially for new families or players joining the club for the first time.
If you need help with:
- Choosing the correct age group
- Understanding the registration process
- Late enquiries or availability
Our committee and volunteers are here to help.
How do I register my child or myself?
All registrations are completed online via PlayFootball, the official registration platform mandated by Football NSW.
When you click Register Now, you’ll be redirected off the Gladesville Sharks FC website to complete your registration.
Do I need a PlayFootball account?
Yes. You’ll need to log in with an existing PlayFootball account or create one during the registration process. This account is used nationally across community football in Australia.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payments are processed securely through PlayFootball.
Accepted methods typically include:
- Credit or debit card
- Other options made available by PlayFootball at checkout
Gladesville Sharks FC does not process payments directly.
Are payment plans available?
At this stage, payment plans are not offered as part of the standard 2026 registration process.
If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact the club directly to discuss available options or support pathways.
Are sibling discounts available?
Sibling discounts are not included as part of the standard 2026 registration fee structure.
Fees are set in line with Football NSW and association requirements and already include significant fixed costs such as insurance and affiliation.
Are fee exemptions or reductions available?
In some circumstances, fee support or exemptions may be available through:
- Active Kids vouchers (if applicable)
- Football NSW hardship or support programs
- Club-supported hardship considerations (limited and assessed case by case)
If you believe you may be eligible, please contact the club before registering to discuss your situation confidentially.
Can I use Active Kids vouchers?
If Active Kids vouchers are available for the 2026 season, they can be applied during the PlayFootball registration process where eligible.
Voucher availability and eligibility are determined by the NSW Government.
What happens if my child registers but no team is available?
If an age group or team reaches capacity:
- Registrations may be paused or closed
- The club will contact affected families to discuss options
- Refunds or alternatives will be handled in line with PlayFootball policies
Registering early increases the likelihood of securing a place.
When are teams finalised?
Team allocations are finalised in February, once registrations close and numbers are confirmed.
Coaches and managers will then be assigned, and families will be contacted with next steps.
When will training details be shared?
Training schedules are communicated closer to the season start, typically in March, once teams and coaches are confirmed.
Is a Football ID photo required?
Yes. All players must upload a Football ID photo as part of the PlayFootball registration process.
This photo is used for:
- Player identification
- Match records
- Official competition systems
What are the requirements for a Football ID photo?
Your Football ID photo should:
- Be a clear head-and-shoulders image
- Show the player facing the camera
- Have a plain or neutral background
- Not include hats, sunglasses, or filters
Photos can be uploaded during registration or updated later via your PlayFootball account.
Do I need to upload documents (e.g. proof of age)?
In some cases, PlayFootball or the association may request:
- Proof of age documentation
- Residency or eligibility confirmation
You will be notified during registration if additional documents are required.
What if I make a mistake during registration?
Most details can be edited by logging back into your PlayFootball account.
If you need help correcting information or changing a registration, contact the club as soon as possible.
What happens after I register?
Once registered:
- You’ll receive confirmation from PlayFootball
- The club will finalise teams in February
- Coaches and managers will contact families
- Training details will be shared before the season begins
Who do I contact if I need help?
