Coach & Managers Information Night

This is an exclusive night for ALL Gladesville Sharks FC Coaches and Managers to learn from some of the best football minds in the country. We will cover coaching philosophy, practical skills, and tips and techniques that help volunteer coaches get the best outcomes for teams and players, plus the benefits of our partnership with Sydney FC.

Sydney FC will also share a deeper look at Sky Blue Pathways, including how the program will run, session training plans, and what to expect on training night. Finally, we will cover key GSFC winter season information, then wrap with Q&A.

The Sky Blue Way

Delivered the Sky Blue way by Sydney FC, this Coach Development Night supports beginner and volunteer coaches to confidently teach football’s core skills:

• Striking the ball
• Running with the ball
• First touch
• 1v1 situations

The session focuses on creating engaging, player-centred environments, helping coaches understand when to introduce key coaching points, and how to guide learning during activities, including how to pause play effectively. Coaches will leave with practical tools to deliver fun, inclusive, development-focused sessions that inspire participation and build a lifelong love of the game.
